L'appel du Vide was showcased in NYFW along with St. Louis' Factory Fashion Show. This french term can be translated to "Call of the Void". I wanted to represent my struggle with depression in a mini collection. This collection tells a story beginning with being enveloped in darkness and overwhelming thoughts. Slowly the light creeps in and is represented in yellow. By the end of the struggle one is free with the movement represented by silk.
